Terms of Use
These terms apply to the CrewDeviate apps for iPhone, iPad and Android, the schedule service they use and the pages at schedules.farhorizongroup.com (together, “CrewDeviate”). CrewDeviate is operated by Far Horizon Group LLC (“we” or “us”). By using CrewDeviate, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. The privacy notice explains what information CrewDeviate handles.
Flight schedules
CrewDeviate helps you compare flight schedules around travel you plan. Schedule information is provided through AeroDataBox. It can be incomplete, out of date or changed by airlines at any time, and an empty result does not prove that no flight exists. CrewDeviate does not show fares, sell or issue tickets, hold or guarantee seats, or provide live flight status. Booking and airline links open other services, which operate under their own terms. Confirm schedules, seats and travel requirements with the airline and your operator before you rely on them.
Timing and rule checks
Connection, timing and rule checks, including the UPS/IPA checks, are information for your own review. They depend on the facts you enter or import, and missing facts can leave a check UNKNOWN. They do not authorize a deviation and do not establish compliance with any contract, company policy or law. No validated rule pack is supplied for airlines other than UPS. The UPS approved-airline checklist records only your own selections; it does not supply or certify any Company approved-carrier list. You remain responsible for confirming what applies to your travel with your company and the operating airline.
Acceptable use
Use CrewDeviate only for your own lawful travel planning. Do not:
- scrape, harvest or bulk-download results, or send searches to the schedule service other than through the CrewDeviate apps;
- overload, disrupt or probe the service, or use it to build a competing data set;
- circumvent or tamper with access controls, app-integrity or purchase checks, search limits or the complimentary-search allowance;
- resell or redistribute schedule results; or
- connect an account that is not yours or use CrewDeviate to access any company system without authorization.
We may limit, suspend or refuse access that we reasonably believe breaks these terms or puts the service at risk.
Complimentary searches and subscriptions
The apps include a limited number of complimentary successful searches, described in the app. On iPhone and iPad, subscriptions are purchased through Apple. Apple processes payment, and billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds are governed by Apple’s terms and managed in your Apple Account settings. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement continues to apply to the iPhone and iPad app; these terms add to it and do not replace it. The Android app does not currently offer subscriptions, and live search on Android works only in a copy installed from Google Play on a device that passes Google Play's integrity check.
Other services
Apple, Google Play, AeroDataBox, Cloudflare, airlines and travel-search sites each operate under their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. The optional CrewSuite connection, available only in UPS mode on iPhone and iPad, uses your existing CrewSuite account under that account's own terms and privacy information; CrewDeviate reads your roster and does not create an account or change your roster.
Availability
CrewDeviate is provided “as is” and “as available”. Schedule data or the service may be unavailable, limited, changed or discontinued at any time, with or without notice.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that results are complete, accurate or current, or that CrewDeviate will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Far Horizon Group LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for missed flights, travel costs, lost pay or credit, or employment consequences arising from your use of or reliance on CrewDeviate. Our total liability for any claim relating to CrewDeviate is limited to the amount you paid for CrewDeviate in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the updated terms on this page and change the date above. If you keep using CrewDeviate after an update, the updated terms apply.
